Job Description Established Middletown Law Firm is looking for an experienced Legal Secretary in the following areas of Law: • -Civil Litigation, • -Commercial Litigation, • -Collection, • -Land Use Planning & Development, • -Summary Proceedings/Evictions, • -Land Use Planning & Development, • -Municipal Law, • -Real Estate, • -Tax Certiorari Proceedings, • -Traffic Tickets, • -Trials in all courts, • -Answering Phones and Greeting Clients, • -Preparation of various Pleadings, Discovery Responses and Motions etc., • -Coordinating appearances, • -Calendaring, • -Research using Lexis or other legal research programs., • -Case Management and Filing., • -E-Filing of Litigation in all courts., • -Preparation of Real Estate Transaction Documents., • -Preparation of Business Transaction Documents. A minimum of 5 years of Law firm experience and/or a paralegal certificate is required, and candidates must have previously worked in an office environment. Job Type: Full-time Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Work Location: In person Company DescriptionFull-service law office would be available to Attorney including use of Westlaw and Lexis Nexis library and use of conference room.
