You will also be expected to perform planned activities in the absence of the Director of Recreation. In this role you will maintain a knowledge of resident backgrounds, hobbies, special interests, and spoken languages, etc., and use this knowledge to encourage resident engagement and participation. The loving attention you bring to the assistance you provide is fundamental to the quality of life and the general wellbeing of our residents every day. The ideal candidate will have the following skills/qualifications: • One year’s prior experience working with a senior population, and those with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia a plus, • At least 6 months of Recreation activity experience (art therapy, music therapy) or event leadership experience, and preferably in assisted living, long-term care or a similar industry setting, • Be outgoing, warm and have a genuine caring personality, • Able to create programs that get residents involved and excited, • Be dependable and able to supervise activities, special events and safe excursions for the residents, • Has creative talents in one or more areas, such as art, music, readings, dance, etc., • Always maintaining oneself well-groomed and properly attired, • Demonstrates good listening and communication skills and always presents a positive spirit and professional attitude, • Possesses a proven ability to lead classes and other instructional learning sessions and speak in front of a group setting with ease, confidence and clarity, • Holds a high school diploma or equivalent at a minimum

Job Description TGA Premier Sports in Northern Westchester is one of the fastest growing TGA franchises and we NEED COACHES! This posting is specifically for individuals who would love to teach the game of TENNIS to KIDS. We are looking for responsible individuals who are passionate about teaching kids. TGA uses youth sports as the vehicle to teach kids ages 5-14 a skill, while incorporating education, character development, and proper etiquette. We do it in the comfort of their own school or community. We do all this while making FUN and SAFETY our two top priorities. Coaches can work 1 days per week all the way to 7 days per week, getting 2-5 hours per day during the school year and up to 6+ hours during the summer. We are looking for both lead and assistant coaches. Coaches must be at least 16 years of age. We train all staff on the TGA curriculum, so extensive coaching experience is not required. Job Description Position Overview: The Brave Advisor Program will work in collaboration with YAB members and OCFS staff to lead planning efforts and activities to create a YAB experience that amplifies inclusivity from across the state and shifts creative decision making to the young adult constituents. The Bravehearts will serve as process experts and will facilitate youth development skills, activities, and planning discussions with YAB members on youth leadership. Bravehearts will oversee and supervise the YAB members, facilitate board management, recruitment, retention, and collective organizational development. While providing these concrete supports, the Brave Advisor Program Coordinator will utilize their personal lived experiences combined with training and system expertise to help YAB members develop autonomy and youth leadership skills, build positive relationships, instill resiliency, all while addressing statewide systemic and environmental barriers within the child welfare, juvenile justice, mental health systems. This posting is specifically for individuals who would love to teach the game of TENNIS to KIDS. We are looking for responsible individuals who are passionate about teaching kids. TGA uses youth sports as the vehicle to teach kids ages 5-14 a skill, while incorporating education, character development, and proper etiquette. We do it in the comfort of their own school or community. We do all this while making FUN and SAFETY our two top priorities. Coaches can work 1 day per week all the way to 6 days per week, getting 2-5 hours per day during the school year and up to 6+ hours during the summer. I. The GCDS Creative Applied Technologies (CAT) Program Now in its 6th year, the GCDS Creative Applied Technologies (CAT) Program integrates the Computer Science, Maker, and Design programs. A robust, 4-sequence computer science curriculum joins with diverse maker and engineering pathways, as well as comprehensive design, architecture, and graphics curricula. Close partnerships and team-taught courses with the Math, Arts, Economics, and Engineering faculties are also core to this program. Depending on their area of expertise, this new faculty member would teach a total of 2-3 CAT courses each semester. Additionally, and depending on the skills and interests of the faculty hire, there will be opportunities for this role to contribute to the Middle School (6-8) Computer Science program.
