POSITION SUMMARY The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of "Below-the-Line" activations, in line with each brand’s strategy and tailored for channel, chain (on & off premise) and marketplace needs. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Marketing and Sales to ensure trade programs are brought to market with efficiency and excellence. This position requires strong leadership and communication and the ability to work closely with the Sales Team and cross-functional departments (e.g. eCommerce, Brand Management, PR, NPD and Global) to deliver Trade Marketing outputs RESPONSIBILITIES: Trade Marketing & Retail Activation • Assist in the development of annual 1-Year Planning (1YP) process for both TM and Brand Management teams., • Collaborate with Brand Teams in the development of brand POS and merchandising materials for Print-on-Demand and 1YP program activations, • Assist in the development and implementation of innovative trade programs that align with commercial goals, retailer priorities and evolving shopper behaviors and trends., • Support the execution of Brand approved partnership opportunities at the National, Regional or Chain levels., • Gather insights and feedback from the Sales Team to optimize future program needs & opportunities., • Support Mark Wine Group as needed for On Premise National Account events and programming needs., • Work with coupon vendors and fulfillment agencies to support Sales Team with coupon requests., • Assist in the development of new item launch support materials (packaging, tech sheets, POS, etc.)., • Attend Trade Shows that align with TM capabilities. Procurement & Logistics • Oversee the POS warehouse including inventory management, Trimester Order Window set up, portal maintenance, order approvals, receiving documentation and budget management., • Coordinate POS material development, ensuring timely delivery to distributors and communicating accordingly with the sales team regarding timelines and tracking information., • Manage vendor relationships and the sourcing and procurement of POS materials. Issue POs, manage timelines, ensure trade materials are sourced in line with budget parameters and meet quality standards. Project Management • Manage Trimester and Order Window timelines to ensure POS materials are developed and delivered to meet in-market timelines., • Central point of contact and key liaison for Innovation activations collaborating cross-functionally with global innovation teams, brand teams, compliance and logistics as required to track project progress against established timelines. Cross-Functional Support • Serve as the liaison between Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, eCommerce, PR and Sales., • Work with Finance as needed on POS reporting, billing & invoicing needs., • Work with Category Management to align key data insights with program development., • Monitor category trends and competitive insights to optimize the planning process., • Seek out innovative POS items that could support Brand and Sales initiatives. Business Acumen • Stay informed with key brand performance metrics and analytics including iDig, Nielsen and eComm., • Understand program lift / velocity using above mentioned data tools to optimize Brand Building efforts. PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Requires the ability to sit at a desk for extended periods, working with computers and other office equipment. Ability to lift 40 lbs. as needed.
