Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is seeking a Manager, Social Partnerships to lead social strategy and brand collaborations and to elevate how the brand shows up in culture. This role will shape Van Leeuwen's social presence and partnership strategy, driving cultural relevance, community engagement, and brand growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic and creative marketer with a strong cultural POV who can turn social content and partnerships into meaningful brand moments. This role sits at the intersection of brand, culture, and growth - owning how Van Leeuwen shows up in social, partnerships, and cultural conversations. This role will be based out of our Williamsburg, Brooklyn office and follow Van Leeuwen's Hybrid work model and be in office three days a week. Job Responsibilities Social Strategy Brand Voice • Develop and execute Van Leeuwen's social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels, • Evolve and protect the brand's social voice, ensuring consistency across content, • Translate brand initiatives, product launches, and campaigns into compelling social narratives, • Identify cultural moments and trends where Van Leeuwen can authentically participate, • Actively engage with relevant brands, creators, and cultural moments across social platforms, building relationships and increasing Van Leeuwen's visibility and relevance, • Collaborate with PR and creative to create integrated brand moments that extend beyond social Brand Partnerships Collaborations • Develop, and manage strategic brand partnerships and collaborations, • Own partnership ideation and execution from concept to launch, • Build a pipeline of culturally relevant collaborations that drive brand buzz and business impact Creator, Influencer Community Strategy • Develop and manage a creator and influencer strategy, • Own day-to-day community engagement across social platforms, responding to comments, DMs, and mentions with on-brand voice while managing and scheduling posting of content on Van Leeuwen's social channels, • Cultivate community engagement initiatives like our Insider Program, Ambassador Program and Broadcast Channel, that build an active, loyal fan base and turn highly engaged followers into organic advocates for the brand, • Surface insights, trends, and audience feedback to inform content and campaigns to in-house team to ensure content performs with high engagement E-mail • Create email calendar and develop strategies for each email channel, • Work with the in-house designer to design email content Customer engagement • Manage customer interactions on social platforms with strict response timing, while collaborating with key stakeholders to escalate trending and large scale scenarios when appropriate, • Co-manage a Cx team member with the VP of Marketing that will help support in this capacity Analytics, Reporting Research • Utilize social listening tools and leverage analytics to review performance data on social media and digital platforms, • Develop KPIs for each platform, with a clear path to achieve and track against key benchmarks Job Requirements • 6 to 8 years of experience in social media, brand marketing, partnerships, or related fields, • Proven experience developing social strategies and executing brand collaborations, • Strong creative and strategic thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to translate insights into compelling content and partnerships, • Excellent communication and project management skills, • Deep understanding of internet culture, trends, and creator ecosystems, • Strong creative POV, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, • Passion for food, culture, and consumer brand, • Must be comfortable working in-store scoop shifts as needed, while adhering to DOH guidelines Compensation + Benefits $75,000 - 105,000 annual compensation depending on experience, paid weekly Eligible for annual 10% bonus • Employee Scoop Card (Enjoy Ice Cream from any of our scoop shops nationwide), • Medical, Dental + Vision Insurance with 70% Employer Contribution, • 401k with up to 4% Employer Match, • Cell Phone Reimbursement Plan, • Wellness Reimbursement Plan, • Flexible Time Off, • Paid Sick Time, • Yearly Performance Reviews Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is committed to pay transparency and equity among all employees and provides employees an environment where pay transparency and dialogue on compensation are allowed. POSITION: The NJTA is currently seeking applications for a Litigation Attorney position in our Law department located at our Woodbridge, NJ headquarters building. RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as in-house litigation management counsel for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (the “Authority”). 1. Assist the Director of Law in provision of legal advice to commissioners, departments and division heads and other Authority personnel on legal questions related to litigation matters. 2. Manage and supervise a broad range of litigation matters including contract disputes, personal injury and tort actions, regulatory and compliance actions, insurance coverage, real estate and property-related litigation and employment-related litigation. 3. Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with the Law Department and outside counsel to protect the interests of the Authority. 4. Oversee outside litigation counsel to ensure cost-effective, efficient and high-quality representation. 5. Review and analyze pleadings, motions, and discovery responses for accuracy and strategic alignment. 6. Advise the Director of Law and the Law Department on potential litigation risks, possible exposure, settlement and resolution options. 7. Monitor the progress of litigation cases, oversee budgets and timelines, and facilitate communication between outside counsel and other Authority departments to ensure prompt and efficient resolution. 8. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies throughout litigation processes. 9. Prepare updates, status reports, and recommendations for the Director of Law and other Law Department team members regarding litigation status and risk management. 10. Represent the Authority in litigation as assigned by the Director of Law. 11. Prepare legal documents as required, including position papers on litigation matters. 12. As assigned by the Director of Law, provide legal services in conjunction and coordination with Authority retained outside counsel and other retained law firms and oversee and track litigations as directed. Management reserves the right to require that other or different tasks be performed as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. 2. Strong knowledge of New Jersey civil procedure, discovery, evidence and trial preparation. 5. Excellent organizational, analytical, negotiation and communication skills. 6. Must be proficient in LexisNexis, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office 365, and State and Federal e-filing systems; experience with case management software platforms (i.e., Legal Files) is highly preferred. 7. Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced office environment. 8. Prior in-house experience or experience managing outside counsel is highly preferred. 9. Toll-free commutation is available for employee travel to and from work on the NJ Turnpike and Garden State Parkway. This position is represented by AFSCME Local 3914.
