Job Description Mitigation Strategy and Support Manager Job Description BASIC FUNCTIONS: HighGround is seeking a Mitigation Strategy & Support Manager (MSM) who will be responsible for supporting organic growth and execution of the Company’s mitigation business for a growing portfolio of best-in-market disaster mitigation and property restoration brands. Specifically, this role will support the Vice Presidents, General Managers and brand leadership teams working in collaboration with the HighGround leadership team in driving commercial excellence and strategic growth initiatives specific to each brand. The Mitigation Strategy & Support Manager will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer at HighGround. This role will be located in any of the following geographic locations: Atlanta, GA, Austin, TX, Dallas, TX, Houston, TX, Tampa, FL, Pheonix, AZ or Kansas City, MO and is a role that requires up to 50% travel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Facilitate tracking of monthly and weekly action items in HighGround’s standard cadence of support and accountability led by the Brand Support Team, Chief Growth Officer, and Chief Operating Officer, • Partner with HighGround integration and technology functions to continuously improve the value of HighGround’s reporting infrastructure along with brand understanding and proficiency in using relevant reports to drive business performance, • Facilitate tracking of progress to brand growth-driven objectives and key results (OKRs), • Identify, document, and implement Best Practices, • Foster Cross-Brand Collaboration by facilitating meetings; visiting brands/locations; support cross brand best practice sharing., • Leverage known best practices from top performing brands and Trusted Restorer (HighGround’s business consulting brand) collateral, content, and capabilities to aggregate best practices across brands and share learnings to facilitate accelerated growth across HighGround portfolio, • Partner with HighGround technology to support implementation planning, training, and brand mastery of new field technology applications, • Expand expertise and act as a subject matter expert in job scoping and estimating practices, • Incorporate feedback and insights from our collections process to further improve our job scoping practices and quality of documentation for billing packages, • Develop expertise and act as a subject matter expert in DASH, PowerBI, and standard field technology applications, • Own the evolution and administration of the HighGround BOGI evaluation for Brands, • Be an engaged thought partner to the senior management team at each brand and the HighGround leadership team, • Provide insight and domain expertise to help inform overall organic and inorganic growth strategies, • Provide insight into talent acquisition and retention aligned with marketing and sales KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: • Organic Revenue and EBITDA Growth, • Job Scoping Accuracy, • Propensity of specialty drying equipment usage, • Service line gross profit, • S500 Compliance, • Review capture rate and rating, • Safety incident rate, • Invoice credit percentage, • New product introduction and subsequent performance COMPETENCIES: • Servant Leadership, • Willingness to roll-up sleeves as a “doer” and coach, • Strength in building and leveraging reports to inform decisions, actions, and results, • Experience with operating and management systems to drive performance across a dispersed organization, • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Comfortable working in a smaller, but fast growing, company environment, where direct action and resourcefulness are essential, • A humble, open-minded, strong listener able to discern issues from collected information, build consensus, and draft/communicate logical, understandable, and consistent strategies OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • 5+ years of restoration industry experience in similar role, • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or additional/equivalent experience, • An analytical mind that is comfortable with numbers and strategy, • Proactive self-starter that is motivated to work with a team to achieve lofty goals, • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with an ability to effectively present to brand leaders, customers/partners, and vendors in a variety of professional and social settings, • Nationwide multi-entity/multi-location experience is preferred, • IIRC Master Water Restorer certification preferred COMPENSATION: Competitive Compensation Package that includes: • Base Salary range $85,000-105,000, • Performance Based annual bonus, • Comprehensive Benefits including – Medical, Dental and Vision coverage; Company paid short- and long-term disability and life insurance; PTO and Holidays; 401k Plan with generous company matching and 100% vesting.
