Job Description Plant Manager Company: Everglory Products Corporation Location: Denton, TX Job Type: Full-time, On-site Pay: $65,000–$80,000 Company Overview Everglory Products Corporation, founded in 2022 in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, manufactures and distributes disposable paper plates and paper party supplies. With two production lines, growing warehouse activity, and increasing customer demand, the company is continuing to strengthen its plant operations, workplace safety, production consistency, and order execution. As Everglory grows, we are focused on building a more structured and dependable manufacturing environment with clearer procedures, stronger accountability, better training, and improved coordination across production, warehouse, and shipping functions. Position Summary Everglory is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to oversee day-to-day plant operations at our Denton facility. This role is responsible for helping ensure smooth execution across production, warehouse coordination, material flow, finished goods handling, and shipping readiness. This position is ideal for a practical, floor-oriented manufacturing leader who is comfortable in a growing operation and capable of improving execution, accountability, communication, and workflow consistency. The Plant Manager will work closely with site leadership and department leads to support safe, reliable, and well-coordinated plant operations. This is a highly visible, on-site role that requires regular presence on the production floor and active involvement in daily plant activity. The position focuses on execution, floor leadership, cross-functional coordination, training reinforcement, and process discipline. This role is not intended to serve as a corporate-level operations executive, but rather as the primary day-to-day leader helping the facility run safely, efficiently, and consistently. Key Responsibilities 1. Plant Operations Oversight • Oversee daily plant operations to support safe, efficient, and reliable execution across production and related support functions., • Monitor workflow, staffing, floor activity, and operational priorities to minimize downtime and maintain steady output., • Help ensure production schedules are executed effectively and that daily issues are addressed in a timely manner., • Support overall plant reliability, operational consistency, and follow-through. 2. Production Leadership • Lead day-to-day production execution to ensure safe operation, schedule adherence, and consistent output., • Coordinate with operators, leads, and support personnel to resolve floor issues and maintain efficient line performance., • Help improve uptime, scrap reduction, labor efficiency, and production discipline., • Reinforce expectations for shift execution, communication, attendance, and accountability. 3. Warehouse, Material Flow & Shipping Coordination • Coordinate closely with the Warehouse Lead to support material availability, staging, finished goods movement, and shipment readiness., • Help ensure smooth handoff between production output, warehouse handling, and outbound shipping requirements., • Monitor operational bottlenecks that may affect order readiness, trailer loading, or customer delivery performance., • Support alignment between plant activity and shipping priorities to reduce delays, errors, and avoidable disruptions. 4. SOPs, Training & Standard Work • Support the implementation and improvement of SOPs, work instructions, and visual controls across plant operations., • Train and reinforce expectations for operators and leads regarding procedures, safety practices, reporting routines, and standard work., • Help identify execution gaps and work with leadership to improve training, consistency, and operational follow-through., • Reinforce discipline in daily process adherence and workplace expectations. 5. Safety & Workplace Organization • Enforce daily safety expectations across the plant., • Support onboarding, refresher training, safety meetings, housekeeping, and corrective action follow-up., • Help identify unsafe conditions, investigate incidents or near-misses, and ensure preventive action is taken., • Promote a clean, organized, and disciplined work environment using 5S principles., • Reinforce compliance with PPE, safe work practices, and facility rules. 6. Quality & Operational Follow-Through • Support process consistency, production-related quality checks, and documentation follow-through., • Help ensure employees follow established handling and production requirements to reduce defects, waste, and rework., • Assist in identifying recurring operational issues and support root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up., • Reinforce traceability, documentation discipline, and customer-related execution requirements as directed by leadership. 7. Maintenance Coordination & Continuous Improvement • Coordinate with maintenance personnel or outside service providers to address equipment issues affecting plant performance., • Help monitor recurring downtime issues and support preventive maintenance follow-up., • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or avoidable waste and work with leadership on practical improvements., • Support continuous improvement efforts related to uptime, scrap, changeovers, labor use, and plant flow. 8. Team Leadership & Communication • Lead and support plant personnel through clear expectations, follow-up, and accountability., • Maintain regular communication with leads and staff regarding priorities, problems, attendance, and performance expectations., • Help build a respectful, reliable, and safety-focused work culture., • Serve as a practical communication bridge between site leadership and a predominantly Spanish-speaking workforce. Qualifications & Requirements Required Experience • 4–8 years of experience in manufacturing, packaging, converting, paper products, or related production environments., • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or manager-level role with responsibility for day-to-day floor execution., • Experience coordinating across production, material flow, and shipping-related operations in a manufacturing environment., • Experience in paper converting, disposable products, packaging, printing, or light manufacturing., • Experience leading plant-floor teams in a hands-on operating environment., • Exposure to KPI tracking, training systems, and standard work documentation., • Working knowledge of production supervision, floor coordination, workplace safety, and plant workflow management., • Familiarity with Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement practices is a plus., • Familiarity with ERP, inventory, or production reporting systems is preferred., • Basic understanding of quality documentation, corrective actions, and operational reporting is preferred., • Strong follow-through, dependability, and sense of responsibility., • Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-changing manufacturing environment., • Able to balance floor presence with coordination, reporting, and follow-up., • Clear communicator with strong people-management instincts., • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Industrial Technology, Supply Chain, or related field preferred, but not required., • OSHA, Lean, or other manufacturing-related certifications are a plus.
