Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Loan Processor to join our financial services team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the loan origination process by ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected, verified, and processed efficiently. This position requires strong mathematical skills, familiarity with financial software, and a thorough understanding of loan processing procedures. Duties • Review loan applications and supporting documents to ensure completeness and accuracy., • Verify applicant information, including employment history, creditworthiness, and financial status., • Calculate income and debt ratios using basic math skills to assess borrower eligibility., • Collaborate with loan officers to gather additional information or clarify discrepancies in applications., • Utilize financial software to input data and track the status of loan applications throughout the processing cycle., • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) during the loan processing phase., • Previous experience in loan processing or a related field is preferred but not mandatory., • Familiarity with financial services terminology and processes is advantageous., • Proficiency in using financial software tools for managing loan applications., • Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately., • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple loan files simultaneously., • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
