ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Plans processes and sequence of the operation to complete plating., • Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches or specification to set the voltage and amperage required., • Dips the metallic parts into acid tanks to clean parts., • Dips the metallic parts into finishing tanks and monitors parts., • Performs visual inspection of plated parts as well as inspection tools to ensure uniform plating on all surface areas are completed., • Racks parts before and after plating., • Logs data into computer for completed parts and processes., • Adheres to safety regulations., • Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to communicate, read and understand English., • Ability to interpret blueprints and purchase orders., • Ability to follow instructions, specifications and plating procedures., • Knowledge using calipers, micrometers, pin gauges., • Experience of procedures to run acid tanks and equipment set up for plating., • Possess good attention to detail to identify problems with parts., • Comfortable using a computer for data entry.
