Position Summary Chestnut Fuels is seeking a dynamic Wholesale Business Development Executive to expand our motor fuel distribution network across the Tri‑State region. This role focuses on acquiring new wholesale accounts, negotiating supply and land lease agreements, and fostering long‑term relationships across retail, commercial, and distributor channels. You’ll drive growth for our branded and unbranded fuel programs by identifying opportunities, executing profitable commercial strategies, and collaborating closely with supply, operations, and leadership teams. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Growth • Identify, prospect, and close new wholesale fuel accounts—gas stations, fleets, municipalities, and distributors., • Promote Chestnut Fuels’ branded and unbranded supply programs and secure multi‑year agreements., • Develop strategic territory plans, maintain an active sales pipeline, and deliver accurate volume and margin forecasting., • Conduct site visits to evaluate branding opportunities, competitive positioning, and operational needs., • Present pricing models, supply options, incentive programs, and partnership packages., • Lead negotiations regarding supply agreements, branding obligations, performance terms, and incentives., • Lead negotiations on strategic lease agreements., • Collaborate with operations, legal, and leadership to prepare and finalize contracts., • Assist with branding conversions, equipment needs, and environmental compliance requirements., • 5–10+ years of experience in motor fuel distribution, wholesale fuel sales, convenience retail, or B2B business development., • Deep understanding of rack pricing, fuel markets, branding programs, and dealer operations., • Demonstrated success in territory expansion and new account acquisition., • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills., • Proficiency with customer relationship management platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. Motor Fuels • Experience with major branded programs (Exxon, Mobil, Shell, BP, etc.)., • Knowledge of environmental compliance, tank systems, and site branding conversions., • Established network of retail operators, jobbers, commercial fleets, or real estate contacts. Real Estate Management & Transactions • Experience identifying and evaluating retail fuel and convenience store sites (greenfield, acquisitions, or rebranding)., • Ability to analyze trade areas, zoning, ingress/egress, environmental conditions, and site feasibility., • Familiarity with LOIs, lease/sublease negotiations, purchase agreements, and contract assignments., • Experience working with landlords, developers, and attorneys during diligence and closing processes., • Company vehicle and fuel, • Comprehensive health coverage, • 401(k) with company match, • Generous paid time off (PTO), • Performance-based bonus or incentive eligibility, • Professional development and growth opportunities
