Job DescriptionJob Summary: The Senior Team Leader is responsible for overseeing, mentoring, and developing the driver sales department, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to best practices. This position plays a key role in strategic planning, process improvement, and driving team performance to meet organizational goals. Leadership Responsibilities: • Lead, coach, and mentor driver sales team members to achieve operational and service goals., • Assist with Class A CDL training program., • Serve as point of contact for the driver sales team, providing guidance and problem resolution., • Conduct coaching conversations, corrective action, and issue escalation in coordination with management and people ops., • Promote a culture of safety first, accountability, customer service, and teamwork., • Apply work rules, policies, and procedures consistently and fairly.Essential Duties:, • Oversee execution of daily driver sales routes to ensure service standards are met (train to be a back up to route coordinator role)., • Assist with route adjustments, equipment utilization, and workload balancing., • Monitor route performance, productivity, and service metrics., • Conduct interviews, assist with hiring, administer corrective action, and assist with terminations., • Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of all beverages., • Troubleshoot service disruptions, customer concerns, and other account servicing issues (bad checks, etc)., • Drive a safety-first culture and mentality, participate in accident investigations and incident documentation in coordination with safety and people ops teams., • Support marketing events, seasonal demands, and promotional volume increases., • Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Fleet/Facility, and People Ops teams to drive a teamwork culture and mentality., • Provide feedback and recommendations to management for continuous improvement.Required Skills/Abilities:, • Strong leadership and coaching abilities., • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills., • Hold a valid Class A CDL, have strong working knowledge of DOT regulations and best safety practices., • Familiarity with routing software, Microsoft Office programs, and ability to learn new software platforms.Education and Experience:, • High school diploma or GED., • 5+ years of warehouse, beverage distribution, or logistics experience., • Prior experience as a supervisor, manager, or team leader preferred., • Experience with union and union contracts preferred.Physical Requirements:, • Ability to lift and/or move 30–167lbs repetitively and safely., • Exposure to varying weather conditions and physical delivery activities., • Ability to work early mornings, late evenings, extended hours, and weekends in accordance with operational needs.
