Why join us? • Competitive Compensation, • 401(k) with Matching Contributions, • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, • Generous PTO & Paid Holidays, plus Parental Leave, • Professional Development Assistance & Referral Program, • Career Growth: Opportunity for advancement within a national trial firm, • Hybrid-Remote Flexibility: Combination of remote work and intermittent in-office presence, • Collegial Environment: Join a collaborative team with support across multiple offices nationwide Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties: • Handle a caseload of general liability and insurance defense litigation matters, • Draft pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and related litigation documents, • Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written arguments, • Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts, • Manage client reporting, including insurance carriers and corporate clients, • Participate in mediations and arbitrations, with potential courtroom appearances, • Collaborate with colleagues and supervise case progress toward resolution, • Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in New York (dual licensure in PA/NJ a plus), • Minimum 7 years of experience in general liability and insurance defense litigation, • Strong background in civil litigation including discovery, depositions, and motion practice, • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, • Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and produce high-quality work, • Experience with mediation or arbitration preferred, • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and take ownership of case strategy Interested in hearing more?
