Location: Tyler, TX Pay: Pay Rage $32.08 - $36.09/hour Shift: Most openings are 2nd & 3rd Shift What You’ll Do: Complete the maintenance duties related to your assigned work area, such as: • Coordinate, participate in, and assist with the construction, fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance of production and operational equipment., • Maintain and repair machines that utilize hydraulic and pneumatic controls used in the production of cast iron pipe and fittings., • Assist the supervisor with planning, scheduling, and assigning maintenance tasks., • Order necessary parts and materials from the warehouse or purchasing department to support equipment installation and upkeep., • Locate, diagnose, and repair issues within mechanical systems and equipment., • Work safely with electrical hand tools, power tools, and various measuring and testing instruments., • Read, interpret, and help others understand detailed blueprints and technical drawings., • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to identify root causes and restore operations while minimizing downtime., • Always follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)., • Communicate completed work and equipment status to your supervisor, the next shift, and the maintenance scheduler., • Keep your work area clean, safe, and orderly., • Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.Qualifications, • Have verifiable and consistent work experience., • Pass a written exam to demonstrate knowledge of various millwright topics. (The result will be used to determine a candidate's base knowledge for the appropriate starting wage.), • Pass an employment background check, drug screening, and physical fitness test.
