Job DescriptionSummary: • The Application System Analyst II serves as a liaison between system end-users (customers), operational leaders, additional support resources, and vendors to design, build, and optimize assigned applications in a timely and high-quality manner., • The role provides application support and optimization and works closely with the Service Desk to respond to service requests. The analyst is responsible for analyzing business requirements, issues, and workflows and applying application knowledge to meet organizational and operational needs., • Responsibilities include contributing to analysis, testing, documentation, and implementation of medium to high complexity software projects. The role requires strong healthcare systems knowledge and the ability to work with minimal guidance., • The ideal candidate is self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills and works effectively in team environments. Responsibilities:Application Support & Development • Analyze, develop, test, document, implement, support, and optimize assigned applications and business processes., • Provide ongoing maintenance and technical support for assigned systems., • Troubleshoot and resolve moderate incidents independently., • Manage application changes following strict change control processes., • Coordinate code changes with vendors and technical teams.Business Analysis, • Perform requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow analysis., • Conduct gap analysis and provide recommendations., • Translate business needs into system solutions., • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, usability, and user experience.Project Work, • Manage medium-complexity tasks and projects., • Participate in system implementation, testing, and documentation., • Provide project status updates to stakeholders., • Collaborate across multiple teams and departments., • Evaluate new system releases and functionality.Collaboration & Communication, • Act as liaison between end users, IT teams, vendors, and leadership., • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders., • Communicate complex technical and design concepts clearly., • Share vendor best practices with operational leaders., • Address end-user concerns and conflicts proactively.Leadership & Training, • Mentor and support junior team members., • Provide guidance on application design and configuration., • Assist in user and staff training sessions., • Review and provide feedback on team deliverables.Compliance & Quality, • Follow organizational standards and change management procedures., • Ensure high-quality documentation and communication., • Escalate issues when SLAs are at risk., • Maintain consistent work quality and professional behavior. Requirements:Education • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in:, • Healthcare, • Business, • Information Systems Skills: • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, • Ability to manage multiple priorities (multitasking), • Excellent communication (written and verbal), • Strong customer service skills, • Ability to work in a team environment, • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, • Ability to present data using charts and graphs, • Adaptability to change, • Strong organizational skills Experience: • 3+ years of professional experience, • 2+ years in healthcare, business, or information systems, • Experience resolving moderate incidents independently, • Ability to develop new functionality with minimal guidance, • Experience working in team environments and mentoring others, • Knowledge of healthcare systems and workflows, • Works under minimal supervision with independent judgment Certifications: • Relevant certifications preferredFor Epic Analysts:, • Epic certification or proficiency required within 6 months of hire, • Must maintain certification through ongoing training and updates
