Duties Prepare and cook fried foods and other menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and temperature control of ingredients Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours Help with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supply needs Assist with catering events or special meal preparations as required Skills Experience in frying and using commercial deep fryers is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards Proven ability in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife skills Familiarity with menu planning and meal assembly in a fast-paced setting Previous restaurant or culinary experience, especially in dining or catering environments Excellent food service skills with a focus on quality presentation and customer satisfaction Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail This position is paid and offers a fantastic opportunity to build your culinary career while contributing to a welcoming kitchen environment.
