Confidential Compensation Associate Location: Greenwich CT - Hybrid ***MUST HAVE FINANCIAL SERVICES/ASSET MANAGEMENT BACKGROUND Workday experience strongly preferred We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Compensation Associate to join a high-performing HR team within a fast-paced, data-driven environment. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about compensation analytics, process optimization, and data integrity — and who understands the critical importance of accurate, competitive pay practices in attracting and retaining top talent. The position will play a key role in supporting the annual compensation cycle, benchmarking efforts, and ongoing compensation data management, with a strong focus on process improvement and collaboration across HR and business teams. Workday HCM experience is a significant plus and will be highly valued in this role. Key Responsibilities • Support the annual compensation review process, including data validation, system setup, reporting, metrics, employee statements, and senior leadership summaries., • Partner with HR Business Partners to ensure compensation recommendations align with performance, internal equity, and market data., • Participate in annual market surveys, including data preparation, submission, and results analysis to inform compensation strategy., • Develop and maintain benchmarking reports and internal market data tools., • Create compensation analyses for new hires, including internal comparisons, external benchmarks, and candidate-specific factors., • Maintain and audit compensation data, including new hire entries, deferred compensation, long-term incentives, and carry awards., • Draft offer letters and compensation-related documents., • Contribute to headcount planning and support compensation forecasting for financial planning teams., • Perform ad hoc compensation and data analysis in support of HR and business needs., • Assist with vendor management and internal stakeholder coordination as required., • Provide occasional support on payroll-related matters (experience with payroll systems is a plus). Required Skills & Experience • Minimum of 3 years experience in compensation, HR analytics, or a related field., • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling, etc.) are a must., • Strong understanding of compensation principles, including job pricing, benchmarking, carry programs, and international pay practices., • Proven experience with data integrity, system maintenance, and process improvement., • Comfortable working with and analyzing large, complex datasets., • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities., • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy., • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams., • Sound judgment, discretion, and understanding of confidentiality in HR matters., • Comfortable working both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
