The Product Manager (Marketing) role sits within the Data Services department responsible for data applications across the company’s divisions globally from Big Data, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Analytics and Data Science. We work in cross-functional squads composed of Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and other supporting roles such as DevOps, Security and Architecture. \n \n As a Product Manager within TKO Data & AI Services department, you will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, from high-level strategy to hands-on execution. You’ll define the product vision, conduct market research, and craft long-term roadmaps while also getting deeply involved in the day-to-day work—creating detailed user stories, prioritizing the backlog, and collaborating with the development team in Agile ceremonies. This role demands a balance between strategic thinking and detailed execution, making you a key driver of the product’s success. \n \n This Product Manager role focuses on fan and marketing data products spanning TKO's email marketing platforms and Customer Data Platform (CDP), enabling fan analytics, segmentation, audience activation, personalization, lifecycle marketing, and campaign measurement. \n A key focus of the role is translating marketing use cases into trusted data products and activation capabilities, with strong emphasis on governance, identity resolution, consent handling, and reliable data movement across the marketing technology ecosystem. \n \n Responsibilities \n\n • Own and deliver data products across our Data Platform, email marketing platforms, and enterprise CDP, ensuring they support audience growth, segmentation, lifecycle journeys, and measurable activation outcomes.\n, • Develop and maintain product roadmaps and stakeholder communications, ensuring clients and partners are informed of progress, changes, and alignment with broader company goals.\n, • Partner with Data Engineers, Architects, Analysts, and Marketing stakeholders to maintain and enhance the pipelines, integrations, and data models that move campaign, identity, consent, engagement, and customer data between source systems, the data platform, and downstream marketing tools.\n, • Define data quality standards, governance controls, and operating processes for identity resolution, consent and suppression logic, audience refresh rules, campaign attribution, and fan 360 use cases so marketing teams can activate with confidence.\n, • Support measurement and experimentation by enabling clean audience definitions, test and control design, and performance reporting that improve targeting, personalization, retention, and lifecycle marketing effectiveness.\n, • Establish scalable audience management practices, including segmentation logic, audience entry and exit criteria, refresh rules, and alignment across CRM, CDP, and activation platforms.\n, • Translate high-level business goals into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria, workflows, and diagrams where necessary.\n, • Ensure product roadmaps, backlogs, and delivery plans are aligned with the TKO Data & AI Strategy, including adherence to front door intake and governance policies.\n, • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for product innovation.\n, • Maintain and evolve the data catalogue for your products, ensuring metadata, lineage, and definitions are accurate, accessible, and up to date.\n, • Explore and assess opportunities to embed AI and emerging technologies into data products, bringing forward innovative use cases and solutions that create measurable business impact.\n, • Utilise strong technical acumen to dive deeply into data such as running SQL queries, providing basic data modelling, and understanding data technology and architecture to effectively collaborate with engineering teams.\n, • Use data and metrics to track product portfolio performance, including KPIs, ROI, and value delivery, to inform prioritisation and investment decisions.\n, • Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.\n, • Take part in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stand-ups, ensuring close collaboration with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and other cross-functional team members.\n, • Continuously improve Agile processes within the team and foster a collaborative environment that embraces feedback and adaptation.\n, • Act as the main point of contact between clients and the development team, gathering feedback and incorporating it into the product development process.\n, • Deliver product updates and roadmap presentations to both internal and external stakeholders, soliciting input for future improvements.\n, • Set stakeholder expectations, proactively addressing any risks or issues to ensure smooth and timely product releases.\n, • Maintain detailed product documentation, including user guides, business rules, data models, and release notes.\n, • Perform data validation and quality checks, ensuring accuracy and consistency, and assist stakeholders in UAT when required.\n\n \n You Have These: \n\n • Proven experience working with marketing technology platforms, CRM ecosystems, and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), including tools such as Zeta, Salesforce, or comparable platforms that support audience creation, orchestration, activation, and measurement.\n, • Strong understanding of marketing data flows and integration patterns, including APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, event and behavioral data capture, identity resolution, data governance, and the controls required to maintain trusted fan and customer data.\n, • Experience translating campaign, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing needs into product roadmaps, user stories, data models, and cross-functional delivery plans in partnership with engineering and analytics teams.\n\n \n\n • 5+ years of experience in Product Management or a related role.\n, • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.\n, • Proven experience managing all aspects of the product lifecycle, from strategic planning to hands-on execution.\n, • Excellent knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies, including leading ceremonies and backlog management.\n, • Excellent stakeholder management and proactive communication skills.\n, • Excellent organizational and forward-planning abilities.\n, • Experience in crafting clear, actionable user stories and maintaining comprehensive product documentation.\n, • A natural problem-solver with a curious, analytical mindset.\n, • Solid understanding of data products, including data science, analytics, reporting, and Big Data technologies.\n, • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.\n, • Technical fluency to understand and communicate product details with the development team.\n, • Always maintain complete confidentiality and discretion - all TKO employees are required to sign a confidentiality agreement, and any breach of this agreement will result in immediate disciplinary procedures.\n\n \n Preferred Skills \n\n • Experience supporting consumer or fan marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, personalization, or campaign analytics use cases in media, sports, entertainment, or other large-scale customer-facing environments.\n, • Familiarity with audience strategy, experimentation, attribution, and the operating processes needed to keep marketing data, segments, and downstream activations accurate, scalable, and compliant.\n, • Experience with product management tools like JIRA/TFS.\n, • Familiarity with data security regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and delivering cloud-based solutions.\n, • Industry knowledge in sectors such as media, sports, events, and other areas TKO operates in.\n\n Additional Responsibilities and Duties when necessary \n\n • Available to work out of
