Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress Tailor to join our fashion retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for garment construction, sewing, and delivering excellent customer service. This role involves customizing and altering clothing to meet customer specifications, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and timely completion of projects. The Seamstress Tailor will play a vital role in helping customers look and feel their best by providing tailored clothing solutions in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities • Alter, repair, and customize garments according to customer requests and specifications, • Operate sewing machines efficiently and safely to produce high-quality finished products, • Measure clients accurately to ensure proper fit and garment adjustments, • Assist customers with fitting consultations and provide expert advice on garment alterations, • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sewing stations and tools, • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines, • Proven experience in garment construction, sewing, or tailoring, preferably within a fashion retail setting, • Proficiency with sewing machines and knowledge of various sewing techniques, • Strong understanding of garment fitting, pattern adjustments, and fabric handling, • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, • Basic math skills for measurements, pattern calculations, and adjustments, • Knowledge of fashion trends is a plus but not required Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Work Location: In person
