Job Description Packaging Graphic Designer (Packaging Design required) Location: Tampa, FL (On-Site) Job Type: Full-Time Design packaging seen in major retailers nationwide. GripEdge Tools is a Tampa-based manufacturer of professional-grade fastener repair, extraction, and recovery tools used by automotive technicians, mechanics, and industrial professionals. We’re hiring a hands-on Graphic Designer with packaging experience to own the creation of retail packaging across our product lines. This is a production-focused role (not management) where your work goes from concept → print → shelf in major retail stores, e-commerce platforms, and distribution channels. ✅ Must-Have Experience (Apply Only If You Meet These) • 3+ years of packaging design for physical products, • Experience creating print-ready files (dielines, bleeds, CMYK/Pantone), • Strong portfolio showing retail packaging work (not just digital/branding), • Design retail packaging (blister cards, clamshells, corrugated displays, e-commerce packaging), • Create print-ready artwork with proper dielines, bleeds, and color specifications, • Translate technical product information into clear, shelf-ready graphics, • Maintain brand consistency across all packaging and marketing assets, • Collaborate with product management and marketing on new product launches, • Work with printers and packaging vendors to ensure production accuracy, • Support additional design needs including sell sheets, trade show materials, and digital assets, • UI/UX or web design focused, • A creative director or management position, • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience with a focus on packaging, • Strong understanding of print production (CMYK, Pantone, dielines, prepress), • Experience designing for multiple packaging formats (blister, clamshell, corrugated, etc.), • High attention to detail — packaging errors are costly and visible, • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, • Packaging for retail channels such as big box stores, Amazon, or industrial distribution, • Experience in tools, hardware, automotive, or industrial products, • Familiarity with packaging compliance (UPC placement, retailer specs, etc.), • Experience with 3D mockups, CAD, or product photography, • Your work will be seen on shelves, online, and in catalogs nationwide, • Full ownership of packaging design across product lines, • Work directly with product and marketing teams — no layers of approvals Please submit your resume and a portfolio showcasing packaging design work.
