A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview) The Production Supervisor oversees manufacturing\noperations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while\nmanaging the production team. This role includes supervising employees,\nscheduling, line balancing, and monitoring quality, efficiency, and compliance\nwith Six Sigma, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Acting as the primary\ncontact for production issues, the supervisor fosters teamwork and drives\nprocess improvements. Strong leadership skills are essential for success in\nthis role. How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities) \n • Ensure\n safe work practices are followed by all manufacturing personnel,\n addressing deficiencies and taking corrective action as needed to maintain\n OSHA compliance and prioritize workplace safety. \n, • Study\n daily operating results, meet with subordinates and supervisors to resolve\n production issues, and maintain cooperation between departments to ensure\n smooth operations. \n, • Manage\n staffing by ensuring correct workforce distribution, coordinating\n temporary staffing needs, and overseeing training for all new or\n transferred employees. \n, • Monitor\n and evaluate overtime requirements, authorize vital overtime, track\n employee attendance records, and enforce company policies when needed. \n, • Assist\n in mediation of personnel issues, conduct disciplinary actions when\n required, and continuously coach and develop the production team to\n enhance skills and flexibility. \n, • 3+\n years of direct supervisory experience in investment casting \n, • 5+\n plus years of manufacturing experience involving alignment, assembly work,\n casting, welding and machining \n, • Bachelor\n or Associates Degree or equivalent work-related experience (4 years) \n, • Experience\n working in a multi-disciplinary team environment, collaborating\n effectively with diverse departments, and demonstrating strong proficiency\n with computers and Microsoft Office software for efficient workflow and\n reporting. \n, • Proven\n conflict resolution skills with an hourly manufacturing workforce,\n addressing issues to maintain a positive and productive work environment.\n Gas Services Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power\ngeneration through service and decarbonization.
