Job Overview: The Senior Manager, Client Engagement & Project Management (Biometrics) is a strategic leadership role blending executive-level client interaction, commercial partnership, and cross-functional project oversight. This individual will serve as a key biometrics representative in both pre-award and post-award phases of clinical programs, ensuring seamless transition from proposal development through study delivery. While Operational Team Leads manage protocol-level execution, this role provides strategic oversight across biometrics functions, ensuring integrated planning, financial alignment, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Support the Head of Project Management and Operations to lead non-technical aspects of Biometrics projects from initiation through delivery while actively supporting client engagement activities, including pre-award discussions and onboarding of new clients. Client Engagement & Commercial Partnership • Serve as the strategic Biometrics representative in pre-award discussions, leading feasibility assessments, scope development, and timeline planning., • Translate sponsor requirements into practical and executable biometrics strategies aligned with operational capabilities., • Partner closely with Business Development and Commercial teams to support proposal development, budget planning, and bid defense activities., • Drive account growth by identifying opportunities to expand biometrics services within existing and new client partnerships., • Build and maintain executive-level client relationships, fostering trust and long-term collaboration., • Provide end-to-end oversight for biometrics-related clinical programs, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards., • Develop and maintain high-level execution plans, resource forecasts, and financial projections across biometrics sub-functions., • Monitor performance across Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, and Data Management groups., • Proactively identify cross-functional risks and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with project teams., • Maintain financial oversight including revenue forecasting, budget management, and contract alignment throughout the project lifecycle., • Serve as a primary client contact for budget and contract-related discussions until project team assignment., • Deliver structured status updates to internal leadership and sponsor stakeholders., • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Data Management, or a related discipline., • Bachelor's degree: 8+ years of experience in a Pharma or CRO environment, including 5+ years in project management., • Master's degree: 6+ years of experience in a Pharma or CRO environment, including 3+ years in project management., • Demonstrated experience managing client-facing biometrics or clinical projects within a CRO or similar environment., • Proven experience supporting late-phase clinical trials and regulatory submissions., • Prior hands-on experience in statistical programming or data management within clinical trials is highly preferred., • Strong knowledge of SOPs, WIs, ICH-GCP, and applicable global regulatory standards., • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and client relationship skills., • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects, competing priorities, and cross-functional teams.
