Job Description GENERAL FUNCTION / SUMMARY The Health Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing exceptional customer support to clients by assisting with health insurance inquiries, policy servicing, and claims resolution. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Client Support & Policy Servicing • Assist clients with health insurance inquiries, including plan details, benefits, and policy changes., • Provide guidance on group health insurance policies, including employee enrollments, renewals, and coverage updates., • Address billing questions, claims issues, and ID card requests, ensuring prompt resolution., • Follow up with clients and carriers to ensure timely policy approvals and documentation updates., • Maintain accurate client records, update CRM systems, and ensure proper documentation of service requests., • Process policy changes, enrollments, terminations, and premium adjustments accurately., • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to ensure efficient workflow and timely customer responses., • Work closely with internal teams, agents, and carriers to resolve client issues efficiently., • Attend training sessions and carrier webinars to stay updated on health insurance products and industry changes., • Adapt quickly to new procedures, software, and insurance regulations to enhance job performance., • Perform other tasks as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
