This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the position's role within the business unit WHAT YOU BRING TO US: Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Computerized Drafting, Architectural Design or related discipline with a minimum of 1 year in Revit * Minimum 5 years' total experience with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards * Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: * Effective performance management * Advanced knowledge of Revit, with the ability to create and manipulate Revit families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters, and similar * Give verbal and general written direction well and turn that direction into appropriate, constructable design documents * Complete understanding of REI BIM processes, procedures, and standards including workflow processes * Fluency in reading 2D plans, electronically or hard copy, including one-lines, lighting schedules, panel schedules, and feeder schedules * Type, proofread, spell check work without supervision * Understanding of Revit work sharing process and method * Skills obtained beyond the building elements would be setting up Revit models, leading model teams in modeling, annotating, project scheduling, assigning workload and meeting deadline * Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) * Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary * Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude * Strong, solutions-oriented oral and written communication skills * Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player * Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others WORKING CONDITIONS: * General work environment - sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
