Job Description22.00 to 24.00 per hour 10 hour shifts Mon-Fri Caregiver needed starting first week of April. Case will be ongoing. Care will be provided for a partially paralyzed male client living with his wife in a private home in North Bend. Primary responsibilities will be personal care, assistance with exercise/therapy, transfers/safety, companion care, and light housekeeping. Shifts will be Monday through Friday 8-10 hour shifts . The shift should be long term, as the client is clinically stable and is covered by worker's comp insurance. Experience with spinal cords injuries and exercise programs a plus. Experience required. The family has a well behaved dog so must be comfortable with dogs. They are in the process of acquiring a mobility van so being comfortable with driving a larger vehicle also a plus. Worth noting is that while the commute is a bit longer then most shifts, the drive is an easy and quick one as you are driving the reverse direction of commuters, heading East in the morning while everyone is driving into Bellevue and Seattle, and West in the morning. At this time, the shift is 10 hours a day, 5 days a week and includes 10 hours a week of overtime, so those 10 hours are at time and a half. This is ongoing but not guaranteed and may shift back to 8 hour shifts at some point.
