Job Summary Job Title: Director, IT Project Management Location: Remote Department: Information Technology / PMO Reports To: AVP of Digital Product Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent Compensation: $175,000 Position Summary The Director, IT Project Management is responsible for leading complex, cross‑functional technology projects from initiation through delivery. This role partners closely with business and technical stakeholders to define scope, build plans, manage risks, and ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. The ideal candidate has deep experience managing enterprise‑scale IT initiatives and can operate comfortably at both strategic and hands‑on levels. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects (e.g., application development, systems implementation, cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, integrations)., • Define and manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders., • Partner with IT and Business Project Leaders to enable communication between business units, IT teams, vendors, and leadership., • Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status meetings, and steering committee updates., • Work with Core Project team to identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests; drive mitigation and resolution., • Ensure projects adhere to organizational PMO standards, SDLC/Agile practices, security policies, and compliance requirements., • Partner with IT and Business Project Leads to lead cross‑functional project teams, including business analysts, developers, architects, QA, infrastructure, security, and external vendors., • Lead through influence to set project expectations, assign tasks, and monitor workload; promote accountability and high performance., • Continuously look for ways to improve IT project delivery processes, tools, and templates. Required • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience., • 5–7+ years of experience managing IT projects, including large, complex, and/or multi‑year initiatives., • Proven track record delivering projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives., • Experience with both traditional (Waterfall) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid)., • Strong understanding of enterprise IT concepts (e.g., applications, databases, integrations/APIs, data lakes, networking, cloud, security)., • Demonstrated experience managing third‑party vendors and system integrators., • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, including with senior leadership., • Professional certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum (CSM, PSM), or equivalent., • Experience in Agriculture and/or Controlled Environment Agriculture, • Strategic thinking and business acumen, • Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions and actionable plans, • Leadership and team motivation in a matrixed environment, • Negotiation and conflict resolution, • Adaptability in a fast‑paced, changing environment Compensation includes a base salary of $175,000. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
