The Role The PupGum GM role will be reporting directly to the COO, however you will work closely across all core business functions. You will be responsible for owning the roadmap and day-to-day operations of our recently launched dental chew brand, PupGum. PupGum is the world's first dental chew clinically shown to reduce bad breath compounds and plaque, and you're going to be its new champion. You'll work cross-functionally, tracking inventory, owning the website testing roadmap and e-commerce platform, building email and SMS retargeting flows, ideating on breakthrough creative and collaborating with the marketing + creative teams to bring those ideas to life, identifying growth opportunities for the brand, and much more. Responsibilities: • P&L Management - Lead all aspect of the PupGum P&L, from revenue growth to cost management and profitability, • Strategic Roadmap - Develop and execute roadmap of strategic growth initiatives (e.g., pricing strategy, UX design, marketing campaigns, channel expansion, etc.), • GTM - Drive go-to-market strategy and brand positioning; build out life-cycle marketing capabilities in partnership with existing marketing team, • Vendor Management - Collaborate with key manufacturing partners, including potential travel to manufacturing sites, to scale supply chain and identify cost-saving opportunities, • E-commerce Operations - Implement Shopify site optimizations and create lifecycle marketing flows, • Inventory Management - Tracking ongoing inventory usage and collaborating with the Operations team to ensure timely replenishment (e.g., owning NetSuite transactions and booking freight), • 2+ years of experience at a top-tier management/strategy consulting firm; experience working in the consumer goods, food, or retail industry is a plus, • 2+ years of experience in an operating role at a growth-stage startup (e.g., strategic operations, marketing, product manager, product innovation / development, etc.); experience with consumer business with a membership or subscription businesses is a plus, • Bachelor's degree or higher from top-tier university; ideally majoring in business, statistics, mathematics, engineering, economics, or a related field, • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Recharge), marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo), and analytics tools (e.g., Looker, Omni, GA4), • Proven track record of owning a P&L and hitting growth targets preferred, • Experience building and owning demand forecast and inventory models preferred, • Proven ability to manage multiple research initiatives independently, prioritize effectively, and drive projects from concept to execution, • Strong understanding of e-commerce performance metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV), • Exceptional work ethic and ability to independently create and drive workstreams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven startup environment, • Comfortable working and communicating with employees at senior levels of the organization, including the CEO, COO, and other senior leaders, • Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and able to react quickly to changing priorities Spot & Tango is an equal opportunity employer. ABOUT THE ROLE As a core member of our Local Operations team, you will be responsible for executing all aspects of Delivery and Cleaning operations as we scale Rinse New York. You will help ensure that customer orders meet our high standards of cleaning quality, are prepared for delivery and are delivered on time by our Valets. A few important things to note about this role: • Typical shift schedule: 4:30PM - 1:00AM, • Initial compensation: $20/hr for the first 30 days (training), and then increased to $22/hr., • Equity: All Rinse Operations Associates have the opportunity to earn and vest equity (options) after working at the company for 90 days. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL... • Ensure that customer orders are ready for delivery by performing quality and inventory control checks, • Troubleshoot any delivery issues and support our Valets (delivery drivers) throughout the duration of their shift., • Work closely with the Customer Care team to deliver exceptional customer service. Provide on-the-ground support for any customer issues or special order requests., • Help identify and report any operational challenges and work with our Corporate Operations team to implement processes aimed at improving operational efficiency as we grow in New York., • High School Diploma or GED required; some college education preferred, • 1-2 years of experience in logistics, freight transport, or third-party logistics (3PL) is a plus, • Are a problem solver who is biased towards action and able to overcome challenges, • Thrive in fast-paced environments and work well under pressure, • Are energized until the late hours of the night and can reliably work evening shifts, • Roll with the punches and embrace change and ambiguity, • Are comfortable with or are excited to learn about different technology and tools (Google Docs, Slack, iOS devices).
