Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents, including bills of lading, manifests, and delivery receipts. Rate Negotiation: Negotiate freight rates with carriers and shippers to ensure profitability. Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the transportation process, such as equipment breakdowns, traffic congestion, or weather-related delays. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to transportation.
