Position Summary: Under general supervision, the Jr. Systems Administrator at Futuro Health provides essential technical support to personnel, ensuring seamless operations through adept handling of computer hardware, software, and networks. This role involves installing, setting up, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing issues with devices, software, hardware, networks, and peripheral equipment. In addition, the Jr. Systems Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the work of desktop support technicians, ensuring that all support requests are handled efficiently and effectively. The position adheres to typical business hours 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Some travel will be required. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Serve as a primary point of contact for all computer and system-related concerns from Futuro Health personnel and partners., • Efficiently triage helpdesk tickets, escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution., • Supervise and provide guidance to desktop support technicians, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures., • Document processes for technical support and end-users, ensuring knowledge retention and transfer., • Configure and deploy computer hardware utilizing Intune., • Collaborate with the IT Operations Manager in the development of Intune deployment packages., • Monitor operating systems and other software for necessary updates through Intune., • Stay vigilant in monitoring system vulnerabilities via MS Defender for Endpoint or other AV / EDR software., • Identity & Access Management: Manage Entra ID users, groups, and roles. Assign and audit Microsoft 365 licenses. Configure Conditional Access Policies for secure sign-ins. Enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and password policies., • Monitoring & Alerts: Use Azure Monitor and Log Analytics to track system health. Set up alerts for resource usage, failures, or security events. Monitor Microsoft 365 service health and incident reports., • Security & Compliance: Review and respond to Microsoft Defender for Cloud alerts., • Automation & Scripting: Write basic PowerShell scripts for user provisioning, reporting, and automation., • Backup & Recovery: Monitor Veeam backup solution for failures and intervene as necessary., • Proven experience in IT support, with a strong understanding of desktop support operations, tools, and best practices., • Minimum of 5 years in a technical support role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity. Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor technical staff, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure timely resolution of support issues., • Proficiency in OS Imaging and software deployment., • Exposure to Azure Entra ID and/or Intune., • Email system administration & troubleshooting experience with Microsoft Exchange or Office 365., • Expert-level understanding of hardware and software, with proven expertise in diagnosing complex problems and applying effective solutions., • Familiarity with anti-virus, anti-spam, wireless communication, mobile devices, and information technology security., • Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask. Supervisory Responsibility: This role will have supervisory responsibility over other staff. Work Environment/Travel: This is a remote role. Travel will also be required to attend meetings and conferences. Physical Demands: Able to sit, stand, and type for long periods of time. Ability to work irregular hours including after hours and weekends although this will be infrequent.
