Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead ground-up construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships. This role requires hands-on construction knowledge, excellent communication skills, and proven experience managing all phases of ground-up construction. Key Responsibilities • Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of ground-up construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout., • Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial reporting; monitor change orders and support value engineering initiatives., • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to ensure work meets specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements., • Develop and maintain project schedules using critical path methodology; proactively identify and mitigate schedule risks to meet milestones and delivery dates., • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, review subcontracts, and manage vendor performance to ensure timely delivery and compliance., • Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact; provide regular project updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues promptly and professionally., • Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, permits, inspections, and environmental and safety regulations, including OSHA standards., • Implement and enforce site safety programs and quality control processes; conduct site visits, inspections, and walkthroughs to monitor progress and workmanship., • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, daily reports, meeting minutes, and closeout documentation., • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience., • 5+ years of project management experience in construction with demonstrated experience managing ground-up projects., • Proven knowledge of construction methods, site operations, cost control, scheduling (MS Project or equivalent), and contract administration., • Experience with construction management software and tools (for example Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office., • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills., • Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, inspections, and OSHA safety regulations., • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, LEED AP, or OSHA 30 are a plus., • Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, • Health Savings Account (HSA), • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), • Short/Long Term Disability (STD)/(LTD), • Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance, • Life Insurance, • 401(k) Plan with Company Match, • Employee Assistance Program (EAP), • Vacation Leave, • Paid Holidays, • Birthday Leave, • Continuing Education, • Professional Development, • Referral Bonus, • Tuition Reimbursement, • Mentorship Program - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
