THE ROLE As a Mixer at THISBOWL, you’ll be an ambassador of our core values. You’ll be responsible for providing personalized customer experiences, walking our guests through the menu and making wholesome bowls from scratch. The make-line moves fast and it moves together, meaning you’ll rotate across stations, communicate constantly and back up your teammates without being asked. Job title: Mixer Employment type: (Hourly) Full-Time or Part-Time Compensation: $27-$35 per hour (includes base pay of $18-22 per hour + estimated tips of $9-$13 per hour). Every 6 months, mixers are eligible for performance-based bonuses. Actual tip earnings may vary and are not guaranteed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Together with your fellow Mixers, Service Captains, and your Restaurant Manager you'll create delicious bowls and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You’ll be expected to: • Make wholesome bowls from scratch., • Deliver superior customer service, to every customer, every time., • Operate a point-of-sale (POS) register to complete customer transactions., • Cross-train across every station in the make-line and move between stations—including the cooking of our hot proteins., • Live out THISBOWL’s people and culture standards by contributing to an excellent work culture. Completes Medication Error Report when needed., • Ensures home, grounds, yard and van are maintained in clean, safe, and sanitary condition., • Ensures meals are prepared and planned based on clients’ individual diet, client input, and the planned menu for the month., • Ensures that the Recreation Calendar is carried out as per client input and as per the planned calendar completed each month., • Responsible for competing all required documentation to include but not limited to, daily logs, communication logs, and behavior reports., • Ensures line of sight for the individual(s) being supported is maintained and completes reports accordingly., • Responsible for adequately and completely cleaning the home during any shift worked., • Ensures that a client’s dignity is not compromised in any way., • Responsible for reporting all emergencies or unusual incidents to direct supervisor., • Cooperates with the licensee and Department staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation. This is a true industrial electrical and controls role for technicians who enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment and want broad exposure to automation. You'll work with 480V systems, PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, HMIs, robotics, instrumentation, servos, and automated production equipment while serving as a key electrical resource for Maintenance and Production. Responsibilities Troubleshoot 480V three-phase systems, VFDs, motor controls, and automated equipment. Diagnose PLC-controlled equipment using I/O and ladder logic. Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC/HMI systems. Support robotics, servo drives, sensors, instrumentation, and safety circuits. Perform electrical preventive maintenance and root-cause troubleshooting. Read electrical schematics and maintain technical documentation. Partner with Production and Maintenance to safely minimize downtime. Qualifications 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience. Strong troubleshooting skills with 480V, VFDs, motor controls, and PLC-controlled equipment. Ability to read electrical schematics and independently diagnose equipment issues. Knowledge of industrial automation, instrumentation, and machine safety. Food or beverage manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens experience preferred. Robotics and servo experience is a plus. NJ electrical license, journeyman card, or apprentice registration is a plus, not required. Why Join?
