Job Summary: The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful management of work performed in the service area. The incumbent is responsible for establishing production goals supervising training and evaluating service employees to ensure that work is performed in support of companys department goals. The individual will monitor physical requirements for work completion (facilities tools environmental) and communicates same on an ongoing basis to his/her Regional Service Manager. You must be comfortable operating switchers to dock or reposition containers or other large items and be able to maneuver containers around the facility. You will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on equipment tools and machinery to ensure they are clean and in good working condition.
