Job Description We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Store / Salon Manager to oversee the daily operations and drive business growth through both in-salon management and strategic digital marketing at our busy Philadelphia location. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent customer service skills and a passion for both the beauty industry and online brand development. Key Responsibilities 1. Leadership & Operations • Team Leadership: Lead, train, motivate, and manage a team of stylists, technicians, and reception staff., • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional client experiences, handle complaints, and manage bookings/scheduling for optimal efficiency., • Operations: Oversee daily salon operations, including opening/closing, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace., • Compliance: Ensure the salon adheres to all health, safety, and sanitation standards required by Pennsylvania state regulations. 2. Marketing & Digital Advertising • Content Creation: Manage and maintain the salon's social media presence (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) by creating and curating engaging content showcasing client results, services, and team personality., • Advertising Strategy: Develop, execute, and monitor small-scale paid social media advertising campaigns to target local clientele and promote specific services or specials., • Community Engagement: Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages, and online reviews (Google, Yelp, social media) in a timely and professional manner to build the brand's reputation., • Promotions: Plan and implement local marketing efforts, seasonal promotions, and campaigns, coordinating digital and in-salon efforts., • Performance Tracking: Analyze social media and advertising metrics to understand performance and refine strategies for maximum reach and client bookings. 3. Financial Management • Manage payroll, track sales performance, and handle cash register/POS operations., • Proven experience in a salon, spa, or retail management role (2+ years preferred)., • Demonstrable experience managing business social media platforms (Instagram/Facebook) and/or running digital ads., • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills., • Proficiency with salon booking software (e.g., Mindbody, Vagaro) and basic graphic design/video editing tools (e.g., Canva, mobile editing apps)., • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings., • A current cosmetology or barber license is a plus, but not required for the management role.
