Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school in Long Beach, CA, serving elementary and middle school students. This contract position spans the current school year, starting ASAP through June 2026, with a caseload of approximately 55 students. The role requires a certified and licensed professional equipped to provide comprehensive speech and language assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and actively participate in IEP meetings. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting thorough speech and language assessments, • Developing and executing individualized education plans (IEPs), • Presenting and advocating for students during IEP meetings, • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License is mandatory, • Eligible certifications such as CCC, CFY, or equivalent school-based credentials are highly desirable, • Experience working with K-12 age groups, particularly elementary and middle school students, • Full-time position (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday, • Competitive pay rate of $60/hour, • Access to comprehensive health insurance covering medical, dental, vision, and life, • Participation in a matching 401(k) retirement plan, • Flexible spending account options to maximize tax savings
