We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-time Maintenance Electrician to join our team. Job Overview As a Maintenance Electrician at our aerospace manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems, equipment, and machinery. Your expertise in control panels, PLCs, and troubleshooting will be essential in maintaining the high standards of quality and efficiency that our industry demands. Key Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in our manufacturing facility, • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance, • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems in various systems, including control panels, motors, and PLCs, • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals, • Program and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automated systems, • Design, install, and modify control panels for various manufacturing processes, • Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies, • Collaborate with other maintenance teams and production staff to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance, • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history, • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements, • Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs during off-hours when necessary, • Assist in the implementation of energy-saving initiatives and process improvementsQualificationsRequired:, • High school diploma or equivalent, • Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent experience, • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial maintenance electrician, • Proficiency in working with control panels, PLCs, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems, • Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, and components, • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation, • Experience with industrial automation systems and equipment, • Familiarity with NFPA 70E and other relevant electrical safety standards, • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as neededPreferred:, • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, • Additional certifications such as Master Electrician or Industrial Electrician, • Experience in aerospace or other high-precision manufacturing environments, • Knowledge of energy management systems and practices
