Job Description MDS RN (REGISTERED NURSE) SHIFT: Day Shift, Weekdays RATE: $34-$36 Coordinates and monitors the facility's Medicare, Managed Care, and Medicaid revenue. Ensures residents receive optimal skilled services to meet needs for optimal independent function and potential discharge to the community. Monitors facility Quality Measures, identifies issues related to Quality Measures, and assists facility with any corrective actions needed to improve overall quality services. Educates facility staff on innovative procedures to optimize utilization and reimbursement through completing the MDS, care plan, and care guide process. Job Description Shadow Nurse for PN2 Students Rate: $20/hr Shift: 1st, 2nd, Per-Diem The McGuire Group and Absolut Care Nurse Shadow position allows students in their PN2 semester the opportunity for paid learning. Nurse shadowing allows a student to follow a licensed nurse as they perform their day-to-day tasks. It involves observing and learning from a registered nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or another healthcare professional in a clinical environment. Nurse shadowing is different than clinical rotations. Shadowing is designed to learn as much as possible without interfering with the nurse's daily tasks. JOB SUMMARY: The Nurse Shadow Experience position is available for nursing students in their PN2 semester of an LPN nursing program. This position shadows a licensed LPN and/or RN in their daily activities allowing for observation of communication skills and provides knowledge building while working with residents/patients.
