About the Position As our leasing associate, you will... • Showcase properties to potential residents, respond to leasing inquiries promptly, and negotiate lease terms following established procedures., • Assist with lease applications, verify resident eligibility, and prepare leasing documents., • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with property standards and housing regulations., • Effectively market available units in appropriate channels representing accurate and engaging information using SDK marketing content., • Proactively initiate outreach plans., • Regularly inspect the tour path and model units and inform property teams of any issues., • Strive to deliver a one-stop experience and provide exceptional customer support to all residents by addressing their concerns and inquiries, and escalating issues when necessary. This includes answering calls, assisting walk-in visitors, responding to emails, and communicating concerns with relevant property team members to ensure timely resolutions., • Develop and maintain professional relationships with current and prospective residents., • Ensure that all leasing representation in the assigned property or portfolio meets SDK standards, including but not limited to the way property tours are conducted, and how leasing inquiries are handled., • Stay informed about applicable laws and regulations and ensure all leasing activities comply with relevant legal requirements., • Collaborate with team members to ensure all move-ins and move-outs are seamless., • Maintain accurate, in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the property, particularly in rent and pricing information, vacancies, apartment availability, lease expirations, square footage and the broader community., • Provide support to the leasing or property manager with weekly reporting and other routine tasks., • A minimum of 1 year of multifamily leasing experience., • Exceptional presentation, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills., • High emotional intelligence with a welcoming demeanor., • Strong organization, attention to detail, multi-tasking and follow through skills., • Thrives in fast-paced environments and has the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team., • Adaptable to changing work schedules and ability to work weekends and some holidays., • Proficient in MSOffice and RealPage Onesite., • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus!, • Must have reliable transportation and a valid license. The gross hourly pay range for this position is $19.00 - 21.00. The actual compensation will be based on factors unique to the candidate, including direct years of experience and depth of knowledge.
