Administrative Assistant Overview The Administrative Assistant provides essential clerical and organizational support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations at IHN Family Services. Responsibilities * Manage phone calls, emails, scheduling, and filing systems * Prepare reports, correspondence, and client documentation under HIPAA compliance * Support intake processes, staff scheduling, and meeting coordination * Maintain accurate records in alignment with Title 17 and Regional Center requirements * Assist Program Director and Administrative Director as assigned * Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED (required); Associate degree preferred * Minimum one year of administrative/clerical experience * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems * Strong communication and organizational skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA * 2. Bi-Lingual Social Worker (Spanish / Punjabi Preferred) Overview The Social Worker provides case management and advocacy to consumers and their families, ensuring services meet the standards of the Lanterman Act and DDS guidelines. Responsibilities * Conduct needs assessments and service planning with clients and families * Develop and monitor Person-Centered Plans and IPPs * Provide crisis intervention and coordinate referrals to community resources * Advocate for client rights and ensure Title 17 compliance * Document services, progress, and outcomes in accordance with DDS/Regional Center requirements * Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work or related field (required) * Valid California driver’s license and auto insurance * Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Punjabi preferred * 3. Direct Support Coordinator Overview The Direct Support Coordinator provides individualized support to consumers in their homes and communities, fostering independence and inclusion. Responsibilities * Assist clients with daily living skills (budgeting, cooking, transportation, social skills) * Support consumers in achieving IPP goals under Regional Center authorization * Ensure health, safety, and well-being during all services * Provide training to families on consumer rights and self-advocacy * Accurately complete documentation and service notes * Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED (required); some college preferred * Minimum one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities * Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish or English/Punjabi) * CPR/First Aid certification (must obtain if not current) * Strong interpersonal and cultural competency skills * 4. Executive Administrative Assistant Overview The Executive Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative and organizational support to the Program Director and senior leadership of IHN Family Services. Responsibilities * Coordinate executive schedules, correspondence, and meetings * Prepare reports, presentations, and compliance documents for Alta Regional Center * Assist with staff onboarding, training records, and vendor compliance submissions * Maintain confidentiality of sensitive organizational and consumer information * Serve as a liaison between leadership, staff, and external partners * Qualifications * Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred) * Three years of administrative experience, including support to senior leadership * Strong knowledge of office management systems and recordkeeping * Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills * Familiarity with nonprofit or human services organizations preferred * Compliance Note All employees of IHN Family Services must: * Complete and maintain DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance * Provide proof of negative TB test within the past year * Complete initial and ongoing training in Title 17, Lanterman Act, consumer rights, HIPAA, mandated reporting, cultural competency, and emergency preparedness * Uphold IHN Family Services’ mission of providing person-centered, family-focused, culturally responsive services * * Knowledge of Title 17, Lanterman Act, and DDS regulations * Minimum two years of social service or case management experience Company DescriptionIHN Family Services is a trusted community-based organization dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities and strengthening the families who support them.
