The breakthrough Orion technology is revolutionary in the spatial biology market, enabling tissue analysis with 20 channel whole-slide multiplex imaging in a single run. RareCyte is looking for an entry-level Manufacturing Technician responsible for the assembly of consumable medical devices. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and capable of repeatedly executing a daily build plan. A successful candidate will have high attention to detail, follow established procedures well and communicate discrepancies or issues to their manager in a timely manner. Responsibilities • Perform repetitive mechanical assembly operations in a manufacturing environment at a fast and accurate pace, • Operate a variety of tools and equipment to complete tasks such as assembling, cleaning, inspecting, labeling and packaging, • Perform microscope inspections required by fine detail assembly steps, • Follow written instructions and complete design history record documentation, • Perform quality checks, communicate issues, file Non-Conforming Material Reports, and implement corrective actions, • Maintain equipment and calibration logs, • Keep a safe and tidy work environmentQualifications, • 0 – 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or Associate Degree (in-progress or completed), • Strong computer skills, experienced with Microsoft Office and proven ability to learn new systems quickly (ERP experience a plus), • Exceptional attention to detail and organization (lean manufacturing experience a plus), • Ability to read/follow written instructions and procedures and provide feedback as necessary, • Experience with small hand tools and microscope inspection processes required for mechanical assembly, • Self-starter mentality and can work primarily in an independent environment
