Responsibilities As a Patient Coordinator, you play a vital role in supporting providers and ensuring every patient has a smooth and positive experience. Responsibilities include: • Patient Check-Out & Scheduling: Review provider recommendations, schedule follow-ups, and ensure treatment plans are clearly explained., • Treatment & Supplement Coordination: Schedule recommended diagnostic tests, review supplement plans, and provide printed copies for patients., • Medications & Prescriptions: Call in prescriptions accurately, assist with prior authorizations, and coordinate weight loss medication orders such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide., • Insurance Verification & Payments: Submit insurance verification requests, communicate coverage outcomes, and discuss payment or cash options as needed., • Office Communication: Collaborate with fellow Patient Coordinators, providers, and medical assistants to maintain smooth office flow and consistent communication. Experience • 1–2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting (required), • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and scheduling systems (preferred), • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and general computer use, • Dependable, professional, and able to multitask in a busy environment Schedule • Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, • Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, • Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM, • Thursday: Closed, • Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, • One Saturday per month: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM Salary & Benefits • Competitive hourly rate based on experience, • Paid vacation and sick time, • Performance-based bonuses, • Employee wellness and service discounts
