Job Description Summary: New Harmony Behavioral Health, LLC, is a well-established leader in behavioral healthcare in New Jersey. We support people with mental illness and Substance Abuse as they achieve greater independence and life satisfaction through a wide range of services. The HR Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the fundamental administrative tasks within the human resources department. The suitable candidate must have strong communication and managerial capabilities and relevant human resources experience. The HR Coordinator will also have solid IT skills that help them multitask. They will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of employee relations, handling conflicts, and efficient scheduling. Responsibilities: Employee Onboarding • Plan new hires’ onboarding strategies and perform new employee orientation to deliver an exceptional first-day experience, • Organize and audit physical and digital copies of employee records, ensuring appropriate employee files are maintained, • Compensation and Benefits Administration, • Use HR software to manage payroll and employee benefits, including bonuses, leaves, and absences administration, • Assist in the coordination of staffing and recruitment processes Employment Law • Communicate with public services when needed, • Oversee employee labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance, • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements and conducting investigations, • Coordinate employee development and training schedules, • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to performance reviews, • Arrange seminars, workshops, and conferences based on each department’s needs, • Wellness and Safety, • Coordinate employee satisfaction surveys and give actionable insights to improve employees’ experience., • Reinforce the company policies, rules, and procedures to ensure employees’ safety Employee Relations • Support employees when human resources issues arise with efficient problem-solving, including answering employee requests, • Managing Performance Review Cycles, • Steward for obligatory Clinical and Regulatory Training Calendar, • Implementation of Employee Retention Programs, • Recommend and develop employee relations practices to foster a positive employer-employee relationship, • Conduct and analyze exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred, • Human resources certification (PHR or SPHR) preferred, • 4+ years of experience working in the human resources field, • At least one year of experience involved in administrative tasks such as payroll processing, development of training HR programs, and employee database management, • At least one year of experience implementing tactics to improve performance management, • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop interpersonal relationships with employees at all company levels, • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, • Strong familiarity with federal, state, and local laws regulating employee relations practices, • Human resource information system (HRIS) knowledge & Paychex, • Experience with HR analytics and human resources metricsCompany DescriptionWe are a well-established leader in behavioral healthcare in New Jersey.
