As an Operations Manager with Precision Security Team, you will be a motivated leader with a proven track record of managing operations and personnel effectively. You will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day security operations, implementing strategic initiatives, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team. This position reports directly to the Senior Operations Manager and will supervise a team of on-site supervisors and security officers across multiple locations in Northern Colorado area. Company vehicles are available for site visits and other work-related travel. While this role includes some office-based responsibilities, daily field presence is essential. Regular visits to assigned contract sites are a key part of the position, ensuring oversight, support, and direct engagement with team members and clients. This position may require occasional availability after standard business hours, including overnights, to respond to urgent operational needs, support field personnel, or coordinate emergency responses. Critical Roles of the Position: Leadership and Management: • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to security personnel, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to perform their duties effectively., • Lead by example, promoting a positive work environment conducive to teamwork, collaboration, and high performance., • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple security sites, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards., • Coordinate recruitment, selection, and training of security personnel for assigned sites, ensuring compliance with licensing and certification requirements., • Develop and maintain staffing schedules to provide adequate coverage for all sites, adapting to operational demands and resource availability., • Schedule and conduct regular training sessions and drills to enhance the skills and preparedness of security teams, fostering continuous learning and improvement., • Conduct performance evaluations, provide regular feedback and coaching, and recognize achievements to foster staff development., • Manage resources effectively, including staffing levels, equipment, and budget allocation., • Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities at assigned sites, develop mitigation strategies, and implement proactive measures to enhance security and minimize threats., • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and feedback, ensuring a professional and responsive approach., • Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and develop customized solutions to meet their requirements effectively. Key Competencies: • Strong security industry knowledge base, • Management and leadership skills, • Integrity and ethical conduct, • Good judgement, • Problem solving abilities, • Attention to detail, • Communication skills, • Calm under pressure, • Analytical thinking, • Adaptability, • Team building and motivation, • Customer service orientation, • Coachable, • 21 years of age or older, • High school diploma or equivalent, • Pass extensive law enforcement background check, • Pass drug screen, • Ability to obtain security guard license, • Pass CO POST pistol qualification, • Valid driver license, • Motor vehicle record (MVR) with no violations, at-fault accidents, or traffic-related convictions in the past seven years, • Associate’s degree in criminal justice, security management, or similar field, • Minimum 10 years law enforcement experience within the past five years, • Ability to use/maintain/operate issued firearm, • Ability to stand for up to eight hours at a time, • Ability to pass company basic hand-to-hand course, • Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently throughout your shift, • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted, • Ability to wear gear belt and ballistic uniform carrier for the entire duration of your assigned shift
