Job DescriptionRestaurant Assistant General Manager – Sloatsburg, NY A high-volume, elevated casual restaurant in Sloatsburg, NY is seeking a hands-on and motivated Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help lead daily operations and support a positive, guest-focused culture. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and experience managing both FOH and BOH in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, food quality, and team performance, • Supervise and lead front-of-house staff, including training, coaching, and scheduling, • Collaborate with kitchen leadership to maintain seamless communication and service flow between FOH and BOH, • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability, • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards, • Monitor labor, sales, and other key performance metrics to drive efficiency, • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to uphold service standards, • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations, • Help execute local marketing initiatives, events, and community engagement efforts, • Step into leadership roles as needed, including managing floor shifts and opening/closing the restaurantQualifications:, • 2–4 years of experience in a restaurant leadership role, preferably as an AGM or FOH Manager, • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, team management, and service execution, • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-driven environment, • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidaysThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious hospitality professional to grow into a key leadership role while helping to deliver an outstanding dining experience in a vibrant, high-volume setting.
