Position Summary The Human Resource Manager serves as a strategic HR partner supporting both Store and HQ employees across the organization. This role is responsible for managing employee relations matters, conducting workplace investigations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and driving HR policy and process improvements. The position partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture while developing scalable HR programs and operational efficiencies. Key responsibilities include performance management support, policy development and administration, risk mitigation, compliance oversight, change management, and continuous improvement of HR practices across corporate and field operations. Employee Relations • Serve as the primary HR partner for employee relations matters involving hourly and HQ employees., • Conduct investigations related to workplace complaints, policy violations, harassment, discrimination, attendance, and performance concerns., • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and employee engagement., • Partner with leadership to promote a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture., • Track and analyze ER trends and recommend proactive solutions. HR Compliance • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and employment regulations., • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, handbooks, and required postings., • Support wage and hour compliance, including meal/rest breaks, overtime, scheduling, and recordkeeping practices for hourly employees., • Partner with legal counsel and leadership on risk mitigation and compliance initiatives., • Assist with audits, unemployment claims, workers' compensation coordination, and documentation management., • Draft, maintain, and update employee handbooks, HR policies, SOPs, and workplace guidelines to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Policy & Process Improvement • Develop, implement, and continuously improve scalable HR processes, programs, and standard operating procedures to support organizational growth and operational efficiency., • Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance the employee experience, improve manager effectiveness, and ensure consistency across field and corporate teams., • Manage companywide policy rollouts and employee acknowledgments, ensuring proper communication and documentation., • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Payroll, Recruiting, Training, Legal, and IT teams to streamline HR workflows and improve service delivery., • Support change management efforts related to new HR programs, policies, technologies, organizational restructures, and operational initiatives., • Monitor HR metrics, employee feedback, audit findings, and operational trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement., • Drive consistency and standardization of HR practices across corporate offices, field operations, and newly opened locations. Requirements & Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred., • 3–4 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a strong focus on employee relations, HR compliance, and policy administration., • Experience supporting both hourly and corporate employee populations in a multi-location environment preferred., • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including wage and hour regulations, leave laws, harassment prevention, and workplace compliance requirements., • Proven experience conducting workplace investigations and managing sensitive employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality., • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement scalable HR solutions., • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail., • Compensation- Starting at $100,000 Joe & the Juice is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.     Reporting to the Assistant Program Director, Outreach the Clinical Coordinator supervises Case Managers and ensures the utilization of Harm Reduction and Housing First strategies and other best-practice clinical interventions to ensure the highest quality care for clients. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for client records are kept in compliance with regulatory and agency standards. The Clinical Coordinator works primarily during business hours Monday-Friday, with off hours availability in case of emergency or for special projects/initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Supervise a team of Case Managers, • Provide regular, structured supervision meetings for direct reports, • Promote effective strategies for case management following Housing First, Harm Reduction, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), Motivational Interviewing and trauma-informed care models of practice, • Develop and implement individual service plans; ensure documentation of client contact and progress is comprehensive and timely, • Interview and assess potential clients, • Provide clinical direction and leadership to the program, help troubleshoot, problem solve, and strategize solutions around client engagement and challenging behaviors, • Promote a staff and resident culture that emphasizes housing placement as a measurement of success; ensure that clients are ready for housing placement, • Oversee development and implementation of individual service plans; ensure documentation of client contact and progress is comprehensive and timely, • Assess and evaluate client functioning, • Supervise and conduct case conferences, • Coordinate delivery of care with multiple service providers, particularly outreach teams., • Work collaboratively with outreach teams to ensure individuals succeed in transitional housing and avoid return to homelessness., • Provide support and guidance to front line staff in managing difficult situations and successfully de-escalating conflict, • Perform other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • NYS Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) required, • Minimum 3 years of experience with related populations; previous supervisory and administrative experience preferred, • Thorough clinical understanding of relevant service delivery concepts and structures including Housing First, client centered motivational interviewing, Harm Reduction models, behavioral and medical health systems, and the ability to access and negotiate the full range of services for recipients, • Experience with crisis intervention, including, risk assessments and incident management, • Ability to work successfully with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, • Demonstrated success in working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, • Ability to delegate and motivate staff to achieve deliverables, • Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with diverse populations and stakeholders, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams; familiarity with Access-based databases and the ability to learn new programs are required, • Bilingual preferred
