Job Description Are you an experienced Leasing Consultant ready to join our fantastic team of professionals? MMS Group is on the hunt for someone like YOU! Our Leasing Consultants support the Property Manager with the overall management of our residential properties. Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide outstanding customer service to prospective residents, current residents, vendors, and community members., • Lease apartments by effectively presenting and promoting the property, including apartment features, amenities, and neighborhood benefits., • Respond to internet leads, answer phone inquiries, and conduct property tours in accordance with company standards and mystery shop guidelines., • Execute sales and marketing strategies to drive traffic, maintain closing ratios, and achieve or exceed occupancy and revenue goals., • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the property and competitive market conditions., • Accurately prepare, process, and maintain all lease-related documentation., • Track and manage prospect traffic and leasing data using company systems (including OneSite)., • Ensure guest cards are completed, entered, and followed up on consistently; monitor traffic trends., • Inspect apartment homes prior to move-in to ensure readiness and quality standards are met., • Assist with planning and hosting resident events and engagement activities., • Audit lease files for accuracy and bonus eligibility submission., • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing regulations., • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred., • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in residential property management, leasing, or a related field., • Experience with affordable housing programs and tenant certifications preferred., • Must obtain and maintain any required property-specific certifications (e.g., affordable housing, tax credit, or property management designations)., • Professional accreditations are a plus., • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional evenings., • Consistent attendance is essential due to staffing needs., • May be required to work overtime or be on-call as needed., • Occasional travel may be required for training, meetings, or company events.
