Job Description • Lead and manage the New York creditors' rights practice from our Cranford office, • Provide leadership, direction, accountability, and mentorship to attorneys and staff, • Oversee litigation strategy, case evaluations, assignments, audits, trial preparation, and escalated matters, • Ensure strong client communication, service standards, compliance, and quality control across the practice, • Partner with firm leadership and operations to drive workflow efficiency, billing accuracy, and process improvement, • Supervise associates and team members, including feedback, development, performance management, and annual evaluations, • Handle complex legal matters, issue spotting, and risk escalation involving clients, conflicts, compliance, and reputational concerns, • Support business development efforts, strengthen client relationships, and help grow the practice, • Stay current on legal, regulatory, and industry developments affecting creditors' rights and mortgage default work, • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, • Active New York bar admission in good standing, • New Jersey bar admission preferred, • 6+ years of directly relevant creditors' rights, mortgage default, foreclosure, or related real estate litigation experience, • 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or managerial experience, • Strong communication, organizational, and client-management skills, • Experience handling high-volume matters with strong accuracy and judgment We offer the chance to lead, build, and make a real impact inside a firm with an established platform and growth mindset.
