Job DescriptionJob Title: Licensed Massage Therapist (Full-Time or Part-Time) Location: Universal Strength Wellness Center Schedule: Flexible (includes Monday evenings and Saturday mornings) Universal Strength Wellness Center is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our team! Whether you’re newly licensed, working under a limited permit, or experienced, we welcome therapists who are eager to learn, grow, and be part of a supportive, wellness-focused environment. We proudly work with everyday clients as well as professional athletes, with opportunities that can include travel and event work alongside organizations such as the Harlem Globetrotters and other elite athletic teams. Our therapists also work with clients receiving No-Fault massage therapy care, helping individuals recover from motor vehicle accidents and injuries. Position Details • Must be available:, • Additional shifts based on your availability and client demand What We Offer • On-the-job training and mentorship, • We accept therapists with Limited Permits / Limited Licenses (new graduates welcome), • Opportunities to work with professional and elite athletes, • Travel opportunities for sports events and athlete recovery care, • Supportive, team-oriented environment, • Flexible scheduling for work-life balance, • Established client base with strong demand, • Professional growth in sports massage, assisted stretching, and recovery techniques Responsibilities / Job Duties • Provide high-quality massage therapy services tailored to client needs, • Complete accurate and timely session note taking and documentation, • Perform proper room flip between clients (sanitizing, resetting table, and preparing supplies), • Work with wellness, medical, and No-Fault clients, • Maintain professionalism and excellent client care, • Follow clinic protocols and cleanliness standards, • Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment, • Willingness to learn and expand skills Qualifications: • Active New York State Massage Therapy License OR Limited Permit (Limited License), • Strong communication and professionalism, • Passion for helping clients improve their health and recovery Preferred (not required): • Experience with cupping therapy, • Experience with assisted stretching, • Interest in sports massage and athlete recovery No experience necessary — we provide training.
