Position Summary The Production Coordinator provides leadership and technical oversight to support worship services, rehearsals, and special events. This role ensures reliable, high-quality audio, video, and lighting through effective programming, preparation, system maintenance, and troubleshooting. The Production Coordinator oversees production volunteer teams and collaborates with the Worship Arts Pastor to carry out their vision for services. Essential Functions • Oversee weekend preparation and setup as directed by the Worship Arts Pastor, ensuring production spaces are ready, organized, and fully functional for services, • Operate, maintain and monitor all production equipment, including audio, video, lighting, and stage systems, ensuring safe and reliable execution during services and events, • Build and lead the Production Ministry alongside the Worship Arts Pastor by recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers., • Coordinate scheduling for production volunteers serving during Sunday services and special events, prioritizing accuracy, clear communication, and timely updates. Ensure adequate coverage for all campus production roles across services and events., • Produce in-person worship services by providing technical oversight and hands-on support in the preparation and execution of services and special events, serving as a technical operator as needed., • Develop and maintain a master plan for production equipment maintenance, replacement, and upgrades, including documentation of needs and timelines, • Participate in the design and construction of stage designs, special elements, and event rentals as assigned, • Collaborate with multi-campus worship leaders, production teams, and church-wide staff on all-staff meetings, events, and volunteer gatherings to support unified standards and effective execution, • Assist with annual budget planning and responsible stewardship of production resources, including equipment planning and cost awareness, • Ensure safe operation of production equipment and adherence to technical and safety standards, including proper setup, cable management, and risk awareness, • Use a scissor lift, ladder, or other powered or manual equipment as needed to install, maintain, and adjust production equipment or stage design, in accordance with training and safety requirements, • Perform other related production and service support duties as assigned in support of campus ministry and worship initiatives Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs) Required KSAs • Associates degree from a 2-year college and/or four (4) years related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, • Knowledge of live production systems, including audio, video, lighting, with the ability to apply best practices in a worship environment, • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and make timely decisions during live services and events, • Consistently produces high-quality work with strong attention to detail and accuracy, • Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to effectively work with a wide range of individuals, • Proven ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with calm professionalism during time-sensitive situations, • Ability to safely operate production equipment and maintain awareness of technical and physical safety standards in worship environments, • Current active member of Grace Fellowship, or willingness to become a member and actively support the mission, values, and beliefs of Grace Fellowship Desired KSAs • Working knowledge of production software and hardware such as Planning Center, Vista by Chroma-Q, GrandMA, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, ProPresenter, Resolume, and Allen & Heath consoles, • Experience managing volunteers or teams strongly preferred, including scheduling, coaching, and accountability What We Believe Grace Fellowship expects all staff to align with our nine (9) statements of faith. Working Conditions • Work is performed in office, sanctuary, rehearsal, and live production environments, • Transportation to & between work locations, as required, • Weekend and some evening work required, • This position requires regular in-person work on campus, with limited remote work at the discretion of the supervisor, • Exposure to varying sound levels and stage lighting during rehearsals and worship services Physical & Mental Demands • Ability to perceive and respond to auditory cues necessary for production coordination and team communication, with or without reasonable accommodation, • Ability to visually monitor and adjust lighting cues, video feeds, stage environments, and production elements with or without reasonable accommodation, • Ability to operate production technology using fine motor skills, with or without reasonable accommodation, • May be required to lift up to 50 lbs., • Ability to look at a computer screen for a significant part of the workday, • Continuous talking and hearing while communicating with staff and volunteers, • Finger dexterity required to use computers, tablets, and ministry-operated equipment, • Ability to plan and organize tasks, solve problems, and make independent decisions, • Reading, writing, and interpreting information, • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, • Ability to safely operate ladders, scissor lifts, and other powered or manual equipment required for stage setup, lighting adjustments, and production-related tasks, in accordance with safety training and procedures, with or without reasonable accommodation
