Job Description JOB-19595 Mail Clerk - 26-00692 Job Duties: • Assist in the daily operations of the Mailroom including: receiving, picking up, delivering, opening, recording, sorting, time-stamping, and/or distributing various OMH mailings., • Process outgoing mail, including the use of metering machines., • Maintain appropriate files, documents, correspondence, & other Mailroom materials., • Receive, store, & distribute mail, materials, equipment, office supplies & records in a stockroom, warehouse, & satellite locations., • Load, unload, & physically handle equipment, furniture, supplies, etc., • Move, set up, & break down equipment & furniture as needed., • Perform moderate to heavy manual labor., • Maintain files, correspondence, documents, & materials, pursuant to guidelines., • Work with OMH & COOSS staff on special projects as needed. Minimum requirements, including licenses and certifications: Candidates must possess a valid New York State driver’s license. There are no minimum education or experience requirements for this title.
