JOB SUMMARY Full Time: 7:00 AM -4:00 PM EST Annual Salary: $88,000-$102,0000 Bonuses are awarded on annual basis. Salary is best upon knowledge, performance, and productivity. As the Director of Cultivation within a microbusiness structure, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cannabis cultivation division operations from seed to harvest. Your primary goal will be to ensure the optimal growth, health, and quality of our cannabis plants while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements in New York. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement cultivation strategies to maximize plant health, yield, and potency. Manage day-to-day cultivation activities, including planting, irrigation, nutrient management, pest control, and harvesting. Managed day-to-day indoor horticulture operations of a cannabis, including cultivation, irrigation, and pest management. Lead and mentor cultivation teams, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high-performance standards. Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with research and development teams to explore new cultivation techniques, genetics, and technologies. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to cultivation, including record-keeping and reporting. Manage cultivation facility budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation. Cohesively work with Processing Division for extraction volumes and share data reports. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve cultivation processes. Foster a culture of safety, sustainability, and professionalism within the cultivation department. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in horticulture, agriculture, agronomy, or a related field (master's degree preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in cultivation, with a proven track record of successful crop management. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in greenhouse cultivation, including but not limited to planting, harvesting, and post-harvest processing. Proficient in climate control systems management to optimize environmental conditions for cannabis plant growth and development. Demonstrated knowledge of integrated pest management (IPM) strategies and techniques to prevent and manage pests and diseases in an indoor setting. Strong knowledge of horticultural practices, plant biology, and cannabis genetics. Experience managing cultivation teams and overseeing small-medium scale operations. Knowledge with cannabis regulations and compliance requirements of New York State only. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to producing high-quality products. A capacity to discern and appreciate a superior level of cannabis quality in the product, evaluating it based on visual, aromatic, and tactile attributes. About the Company: Education Through Music is a non-profit organization that partners with New York City Public Schools to place music teachers and programs back into school’s curricula. We are unique from other arts nonprofits in that we provide a bridge for teachers who are not certified to teach in public schools, build their program, and eventually be hired by a public school for the DOE. ETM has great reach in that we serve all five boroughs, we have partnerships with 50 public schools and provide music education to over 18,000 children. Description Position Overview: The Life Coach at Lee Goodwin Residence provides comprehensive case management, outreach, and counseling to the residents at our supportive housing facility for young adults aging out of foster care between the ages of 18-28 year olds. The Life Skills Coach will provide referrals to: education and career programs such as: HSE, Vocational Training, Employment, and Internships. As well as: Substance Abuse Treatment, and Mental Health Services. Salary: $48,000 to $52,000 (base salary commensurate with education, training and related work experience) Responsibilities: • Conduct a comprehensive intake assessment for all new residents and review the agency’s policies and procedures with them. Develop treatment plan for all residents. Monitor clients’ emotional, social and physical well-being, as well as their progress • Maintain concise and accurate resident files in Salesforce database • Monitor residents’ medication • Provide residents with necessary referrals, including emergencies such as hospitalization, detox, etc. Inform residents about on- site, agency and community resources that are available to them. • Participate in case conferences, staff meetings and training sessions and represent the agency at assigned meetings and conferences. • Input data in Salesforce data base daily for all of the residents. • Attend professional development trainings, supervision meetings, case conferences, and staff meetings. • Provide monthly statistical reports on time and accurately. • Work cooperatively with staff at all levels to ensure quality service provision and the development and improvement of team performance. • Assist residents in the planning, prioritizing and long-term goals and short-term goals. • Maintain and oversee documentation of case files for compliance with regulatory agency.
