Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Executive to join our Halston Dresses & Sportswear team. This role will be responsible for managing and growing existing accounts across both specialty and department stores. The Account Executive will manage the full account lifecycle, from strategic planning and market execution through post-market analysis and in-season optimization. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, analytical, and entrepreneurial, with the ability to independently manage and grow a wholesale business while building strong, long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and grow existing accounts across specialty and department stores throughout the full account management lifecycle., • Analyze sales data in detail, including item-level, store-level, and classification analysis, and develop actionable strategies based on findings., • Partner closely with accounts to identify gaps and opportunities for business development and growth., • Identify market trends and leverage insights to support future business opportunities., • Create and implement account-specific business plans to achieve sales and brand goals., • Schedule and lead showroom appointments and create account line list presentations for market and post-market needs., • Maintain and manage all orders, including creating order sheets, reviewing orders for accuracy, and replacing sales dollars lost due to cancellations or overselling., • Initiate and manage outreach to new specialty accounts and prospective business partners., • Partner cross-functionally with Design, Production, Merchandising, and Operations to meet account needs and support consistent brand growth., • Manage operational requirements of the wholesale business, including tracking sales, monitoring markdowns, placing and tracking orders, and supporting six-month seasonal vendor plans. Qualifications: • 5+ years of wholesale or retail experience within the fashion industry., • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred., • Strong understanding of the full sales lifecycle and wholesale account management., • Experience managing the operational requirements of a wholesale business, including sales tracking, markdowns, order management, and six-month seasonal vendor plans., • Strong knowledge of retail math and seasonal financial planning., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently establish and develop long-term business relationships., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel., • Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating item-level, store-level, and classification sales performance., • Ability and willingness to travel extensively; a valid driver’s license is required., • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
