Job Description Adecco Medical & Science is hiring a Surgical Technologist – Pre-Opening & Operational Role. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration. Location: Sacramento, CA Type: Contract / Pre-Opening with potential transition to permanent role Department: Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Pay: $32–$44/hour Position Overview: This role supports the launch of a new surgery center. The Surgical Technologist will assist with OR setup, equipment assembly, instrument organization, and workflow development. Once the center is operational, the role may transition into a standard Surgical Technologist scrub position. Responsibilities Include: • Assist with operating room setup, equipment assembly, and instrument organization, • Perform equipment checks and support OR readiness and mock procedures, • Inventory, label, and organize surgical instruments and supplies, • Support sterilization, reprocessing, and infection control workflows, • Assist with regulatory inspection preparation and accreditation readiness, • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, vendors, and clinical staff, • Post-opening: maintain sterile field, assist during procedures, perform counts, and restock ORs Requirements Include: • Minimum 1 year of experience in OR, ASC, perioperative, or surgical setting, • CST preferred; High School Diploma required, • BLS required (ACLS/PALS as applicable), • Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills, • Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment Why work for Adecco? • Excellent Weekly Pay, • 401(k) Plan, • Skills Training, • Excellent Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Pay Details: $32.00 to $44.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
